Swim with Dolphins, Waianae

Dolphin Excursions Snorkel Adventure, Waianae
Dolphin Excursions specializes in safely leading small groups on dolphin and whale watching excursions in Oahu. We take you on an ocean safari aboard our state-of-the-art 34-foot rigid inflatable boat with our lifeguard certified crew. We also provide round-trip transportation to and from Waikiki and Ko Olina hotels.

The west coast of Oahu is well known for having the calmest and clearest waters around the island. It’s perfect for snorkeling with turtles and home to both spinner dolphins and those mighty winter visitors — humpback whales.

Unlike most dolphin cruises or other Hawaii tours, our snorkel excursions are operated by seasoned naturalists and marine biologists. We search for multiple species of wild dolphins and practice responsible wildlife viewing. Swimming with dolphins in Oahu is an event that is certain to make your day, if not your entire vacation!

West Ocean Sunset Cocktail Cruise

The West Oahu horizon hosts some of the most beautiful sunsets in Hawaii, and this scenic cruise gives you the perfect vantage point to see one while sipping a cold beverage. See marine wildlife, such as dolphins, turtles, and whales, at play in the vast, glimmering Pacific Ocean.

The gentle waves and soft breeze provide a relaxing ambiance aboard a large and comfortable sailing catamaran. Let your cares melt away as you enjoy food, drinks, and fellowship. The vessel's layout and 5-star service make you feel like you're enjoying a roomy yacht with friends. Snack on pupus (Hawaiian appetizers) while the friendly crew at the bar makes sure your cup stays full.

The sailing catamaran is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of space both inside and out to relax. Be sure to bring your camera to snap some stunning shots. In the background, spy the natural beauty of Oahu's tall mountain ranges. Catch the moment when the sun slips below the horizon, you may even see the “green flash,” the moment the yellow sun melds with the blue hue of the sea..

Pearl Harbor & USS Arizona Memorial

On this USS Arizona and Pearl Harbor tour, immerse yourself in the history of the attack which launched the United States into World War II. Experience the sobering memorial to the sunken USS Arizona, and learn fascinating details about the attack from your guide and the comprehensive museum.

After convenient hotel pickup, take an informative drive to Pearl Harbor. Listen as your guide provides a historical background on the day of the attack. On December 7, 1941, Japanese imperial forces launched a surprise strike on the US Navy stationed at Pearl Harbor, pushing the United States into World War II.

Tour the visitor center, which contains video footage taken the day of the attack, in addition to an immersive display of recently discovered artifacts. Come to a better understanding of the geographic layout and the movements of the Japanese military from scale models illustrating the moment-by-moment events.

Afterward, take a boat to the USS Arizona Memorial, a floating platform balanced over the sunken hull of the battleship destroyed on the day of the attack. The scene is quiet, and bubbles of oil that still leak from the hull serve to reinforce the relative modernity of the war. Before returning to your hotel, look out for green sea turtles and tropical fish that have made home in the wreckage of the ship.

Xtreme Parasail

Enjoy a bird's-eye view of Honolulu and beyond as you take to the blue skies above Waikiki on a thrilling parsasailing adventure. With room for up to 2 people, you can fly solo or team up with a friend to take a tandem flight that lets you out on lines up to 1,000 feet (305 m) long.

After getting picked up at your hotel, meet a friendly crew for a brief introduction and safety review before you board a custom boat to begin your parasailing adventure. Choose from a basic flight to get the hang of things, or go for a more extreme flight sure to test your vertigo.

Strap into your harness and let your chute fill with air as you're lifted off the back of the boat and over the Pacific Ocean. Admire the shifting blue hues of the water below, enjoy sweeping views of Diamond Head and Honolulu, and consider a thrilling dip in the ocean before you land back on the boat's platform. After your ride, enjoy the coast as others take their turns before returning back to the dock.

Poka'i Bay Beach Park

Because of its breakwater offshore that blocks high surf, Poka'i Bay is the most protected beach on the leeward (west) coast of Oahu. It is calm year-round, while other beaches on the leeward coast get strong surf in the winter months. So this is a good place to take the kids or to swim if you're a novice swimmer. The calmest area is at the southern end of the bay, next to the breakwater. There's a wide reef in the middle of the bay and the waves that break on it are usually small, which makes it a good spot for beginning surfers.
